Experience is considered to be a great teacher, but learning from your experiences requires some reflection. Bowlers can and should debrief themselves following any competitive event, including leagues or tournament play.
From league play to a PBA major, any level of competition can offer insights for a bowler, regardless of the quality of the performance. If you want to learn from both the positives and the negatives of a competition, you can debrief yourself, preferably in a journal, by asking the following questions:
