The Track Tour SiC is the second ball in the “Tour” line and it shares no similarities to the first release, the Tour X. The SiC is named after the core design that is housed by the MR-6 Solid Reactive coverstock. Bowlers familiar with Track products will know that the x16 releases thus far have utilized the i-Core, a low RG, high differential core design. The SiC takes this shape and makes it symmetrical, significantly altering the densities to do so. The Symmetrical i-Core (SiC) combines a super-high RG with a low differential. This core design, combined with the Tour SiC’s solid reactive coverstock, provides bowlers with a ball motion that is unique and unseen in the industry currently.
The Tour SiC gave us a stellar reaction on our medium test pattern. Despite the sanded finish, the Tour SiC cleared the heads easily and made a substantial move when it exited the oil pattern. Stroker and Cranker loved their reaction; they both had plenty of area at the breakpoint with this ball. Tweener could get to the pocket, but with his higher ball speed, he saw a flat 10 pop up every couple of shots when the pattern was...
