The 912T is the newest high performance ball from Track. It has a slightly modified version of the Legion 2 Turbo core seen in the 811A Special Edition. It is surrounded by a new formulation that is true to its name (Gen ET – Extra Traction.) This coverstock is also finished with a new process and new finishing step called 1500 Abranet soft. This new finish has a rough appearance to give the 912T traction in oil, but not use up all its energy in the midlane.
The combination of all these new elements gives the 912T a massive amount of hook that gave us our best look on the heavy oil test pattern. All three testers saw their 912T start to rev up off their hand and create more traction in the oil than we have seen from any other Track product.
