The Phaze offers new technology inside and out for Storm. It has a new coverstock called AX-16 Pearl which comes out of the box at a 1500 grit polished finish. It also uses a new symmetrical weight block called Velocity. This new design has a low RG of 2.48″ and a fairly high total differential of 0.051″. We found this new cover and core pairing to provide easy length with a controlled breakpoint and back end reaction.

The Phaze matched up best for our testers on our medium oil pattern. Tweener and Stroker liked the increased amount of hook they saw over balls such as the Rocket and Optimus. They also liked how the Phaze didn’t jump left when they got it to the dry too early.
