The Match Pearl is the new polished pearl option in Storm’s Hot line. Like the solid-covered Match, it uses the new Stinger symmetrical core design. This ball shares the same Reactor Pearl coverstock with the Joy Ride, but with a lower RG and higher differential core. The Match Pearl’s stronger core design will give it more hook than either of the Rides. Its pearl polished cover provides much more skid and flip than the solid Match on medium and lighter oil patterns.
We started about five boards farther right with our feet than we did with the solid-covered Match on our medium test pattern. The polished Reactor cover gave us much more skid through the front of the lane and more snap when it hit the dry. This reaction got better as the
