The Seismic Raging Bull uses the same core design as the Raging Bull Charged with a solid version of the same cover. This cover creates more friction than the AgRS cover on the Raging Bull Charged. We definitely experienced more friction in the front and midlane.
All three testers had their best look on the oily test pattern. On this pattern we experienced what we would expect from a release with an asymmetrical core and a solid coverstock. It has a strong read in the front of the lane, a strong roll in the midlane, and a smooth, controlled motion in the back end. It is critical for a ball to be strong in the middle part of the lane on patterns that are heavy in volume and long in distance, which describes our oily test pattern.
