The Rising Star is a new ball in the Shield line of Roto Grip products. This line features the Photon core, which has been tweaked in this release. The modification has lowered the RG and raised the Diff from the version found in the Riot and Dark Star. The cover is a new version of Ultra Vision that is a hybrid.

We found this core/cover combination to match up best with our medium test pattern. For Cranker, the Rising Star read the midlane extremely well with a strong arcing motion at the back end. Tweener and Stroker experienced more skid through the front with a much stronger move at the back. Usually Cranker is the one who sees the most recovery, but not this
