The new Berserk joins the Bandit and the Outlaw in Roto Grip’s HP3 line for the fall season. This ball takes the core from the Bandit and Outlaw and uses a hybrid coverstock that comes with a box finish of 4000 Abralon. The colors on this ball give the appearance of a rougher surface and even when we changed the surface during the session and returned it to the box finish, it came out looking the same as it did fresh out of the box.
The traction created by this cover and core combination had us striking the most on our heavy test pattern. The Berserk dug into the lane and let Cranker play where the volume of oil is the highest on this pattern.
