The QZ2 is the third release in this series from Motiv. Just like the previous two, it uses the Quadfire core combined with the MOTIVator-Z cover. The difference between the three is how they are finished from the factory. This one comes with a 4000 polished finish while the QZ1 Purple came at 1000 polished and the QZ1 Red at 2000 polished. The differences in factory finishes give each their own distinct look on the lanes.
The QZ1 Purple matched up best with medium conditions while the QZ1 Red matched up best with medium-dry conditions. The new QZ2 matches up best with drier lane conditions.
