Both of the Lord Field Exodus releases use the same high differential G1 symmetrical weight block. The difference in the two balls is their coverstocks. The Exodus G2 has a polished version of the Activator Plus Smart coverstock, making it much cleaner through the front and middle of the lane than the sanded Exodus G1. Unlike some other ball pairs that share cores and use a polished pearl or hybrid cover and a solid sanded finish, both Exodus covers are solid reactives. The polish gives the G2 more length without increasing its change of direction at the back end.
The Exodus G2 matched up best on our medium test pattern. Each tester was about five boards farther right
