The Rhodman Pearl is the latest collaboration between Hammer and the TNBA. It uses the same symmetrical Spheroid core shape that was used in both the original Rhodman and the Bad Intentions series. This lower RG (2.48″) and medium differential (0.048″) design is paired with a polished coverstock called Juiced Maxx Pearl. Medium patterns will be best for this ball for most styles, as it offers more hook than the Rebel and Rebel Yell and less hook than the stronger-covered asymmetrical balls in the Hammer lineup.
Stroker had the best reaction on our fresh medium oil test pattern. He could start his ball on 10, playing a small swing to eight at the arrows and out to six at the breakpoint. The Rhodman Pearl’s polished cover showed zero signs of hooking early for him, allowing him to stay in this part of the lane the entire session.
