The Brawl joins the Grind in the new Hardcore series from Hammer. This series was started last summer to replace the Raw Hammer series which included several great products over the last few years. The Hardcore series uses the Bullet core shape, which offers a medium RG and differential combination. This gives the Brawl moderate lope through the front part of the lane. The Violent Flip Reactive cover used on the Brawl is one we have seen in the past. The 2000 Abralon finish combined with the Bullet core creates a ball motion that is stronger than the Grind while maintaining the control the Grind is known for.

All three of our testers found the Hardcore Brawl to be sneaky strong, giving them a great look on our oily test pattern. This is mainly due to the box finish rather than the total hook potential. The factory finish gave each tester the traction they needed in the oil while the controlled motion down lane...
