We try to not get excited when we get a ball in the same line or with a similar name or construction to a ball we liked previously. This is important so that we can stay neutral and non-biased in watching the reaction of the ball. That said, we are not going to lie: we got a little excited about the Ebonite Game Breaker 2. This ball is an updated version of the Game Breaker, one of the most successful bowling balls in Ebonite history. New low RG regulations from USBC made a carbon copy remake of the Game Breaker impossible, as its core no longer meets today’s requirements. Consequently, Ebonite has altered the core, raising its RG slightly. Other than this change to the core, everything else about the Game Breaker 2 is exactly the same as the original Game Breaker. This ball provides the same coverstock, same color, and same great reaction on our test patterns.
