The ball motion that the DV8 Reckless’ core/cover combination creates is a stronger midlane read with a strong but controllable motion at the breakpoint and back end. This makes the Reckless the benchmark type ball in the DV8 line. The Class 3 cover, with its polished finish, is best suited for medium to moderately oily lane conditions.
The length of our medium pattern matched up best with the Reckless. The extra couple of feet of back end this pattern creates allowed the Reckless to make it back to the pocket from almost any breakpoint we chose. Even when we moved deep into the oil pattern this ball was able to charge back to the pocket shot after shot.
