The Raw Urge is the third release in Columbia 300’s Orange Line collection. This is the second solid-covered ball in this lineup, joining the Melt Down. It is also the second release to use the Ironman core shape, with the first being the original Urge. This ball uses the AR350 Solid coverstock and it comes out of the box finished with a 2000 Abralon pad, giving it big traction in the oil. The Raw Urge grabs the lane quickly, smoothing out the transition as it makes its way to the pins.
This ball’s large amount of traction in the middle of the lane will allow it to match up best on heavier oil conditions. We used it to whittle our heavy pattern into shreds. The rough finish of this ball combined with its medium-low RG and high differential asymmetrical core gets it rolling quickly, eating up
