The Outburst is the latest addition to Columbia 300’s mid-performance line. The Outburst was designed to provide a strong arcing type of ball reaction on medium-oily to oily lane conditions. The New Era Plus Reactive cover, combined with the low RG and medium differential Resurgence symmetric core, gives a great option for players bowling on medium-heavy to heavy oil conditions.
We found the Outburst’s strong consistent ball reaction to match up best with our oily test pattern. The box finish allows the Outburst to create friction on the lane rather easily, which is needed due to the volume of this pattern. The box finish will work just fine on medium patterns for those with lower rev rates.
