The Classic U2 is a release that was demanded by Columbia 300 die-hards after the recent success of other brands with urethane covers. The only thing The Classic U2 shares with the old time release is the name. This modern urethane release is a different composition of urethane and surrounds the modern low RG Resurgence core.
Even with the strong core, this cover does not absorb much oil, so we had our best reaction on the short dry test pattern.
