The Columbia 300 Blur Solid uses the same core as the other Blurs, but this one has a solid version of the Full Tilt 5.0 coverstock. All three balls come out of the box at the same box finish, leaving only the coverstock makeup to determine the difference in reaction.
The solid cover gave our testers the most room for error on our medium test pattern. Cranker liked this ball slightly more than Stroker and Tweener. He really liked the smooth, continuous motion this Blur provided. He could be as aggressive as he wanted with his release without watching this ball read too hard at the breakpoint. The polished finish provided plenty of length, followed by a strong arc through the pin deck.
