Brunswick has introduced the Rhino as its new entry-level performance ball. This new series uses Brunwick’s pearlized R-16 Reactive coverstock and a traditional light bulb core design with a low differential of 0.030″. The Rhino is available in five new color schemes and this line replaces the previous Strike King line. All three of our test balls were the Red / Black / Gold Pearl model. Being a highly polished entry-level ball, our testers found their best reactions with the new Rhino on our shortest and lowest volume test pattern, and also after our patterns had broken down and experienced significant oil depletion.
On our fresh dry pattern, our testers saw their best ball reactions when playing straighter up the outside part of the lane. This is the section of the lane where there was enough friction to get the Rhino back to the pocket.
