The Brunswick Mastermind Scholar is the fourth release in the Mastermind lineup. It is the first Mastermind that comes out of the box polished. The Scholar pairs the same core from the other releases with a new reactive pearl coverstock named Honor Roll A+ Pearl Reactive. This ball easily glides down the lane farther than any of the previous Masterminds and it retains the most amount of energy for the back end.
The Scholar’s type of reaction was best for us on our medium test pattern. Tweener and Stroker loved their reactions with this ball on the fresh. The cover allowed them to see easy length with massive recovery at the back end. As the oil started to dry up, they were able to make small moves with their feet without giving up any hit at the pins.
