The C(System) alpha-max is the fourth release in Brunswick’s Chemical Friction Technology line of balls. This one is easily the strongest overall of the four. The alpha-max gets its strength over the others from the CFT alpha-max cover. This new cover offers the highest friction rating of any of Brunswick’s current covers and combined with the I-Block core used in both the C(System) 2.5 and 3.5, gave all three testers their best reactions on our oily test pattern. Even with the final sanding stage being 4000 SiaAir, the C(System) alpha-max provided plenty of traction in the oil while maintaining enough to get the job done at the back end.
