The Absolute Nirvana is the third Nirvana in Brunswick’s Hook line of bowling balls, joining the original Nirvana and the Ultimate Nirvana. It fits quite appropriately in the Hook product line, as it is the biggest hooking ball to date from Brunswick. This feat was accomplished by using the Nirvana Ultra Low RG (2.477″) core, with its large differential of 0.054″ and a moderately strong intermediate differential of 0.013″, combined with the new ECS Hook coverstock. This cover is the most aggressive in the Nirvana line and it comes out of the box at one of the roughest box finishes we have seen from Brunswick, a 1000 SiaAir surface.

The Absolute Nirvana had no trouble mowing through our heavy oil test pattern. It allowed all three testers to start even farther left with their feet than they could with the previous two Nirvanas. The Absolute picked up harder in the midlane and offered strong motion through the entire lane. We could miss left into the puddle where other balls would leave a 2 pin and this ball gnawed right through the oil and got back to the pocket. Stroker was farther left than he has ever been with a Brunswick ball in his hand and he was confident...
