The Unreal offers bowlers another viable option for heavy oil patterns from the AMF brand. While this ball has a bit less total hook than the AMF Pure, it creates an earlier and more arc-shaped motion. This is a result of the Unreal using a different coverstock, a different box finish, and a different core than the Pure. Starting with the cover, the Unreal uses the F64 Solid coverstock formulation, compared to the F90 that was used on the Pure. It is finished with a NEAT A pad, which is similar to a 2500 grit finish. Finally, the Unreal uses a modified version of the Self-Righting Core (SRC). This core has been used previously on numerous balls from both AMF and 900 Global.
