The AMF Night Hawk SE is the third reincarnation of the Night Hawk in the original black color. Besides the color, the core is very similar in shape to the original, with very minimal changes to both the RG and differential. This, however, is where the similarities end for the Night Hawk SE. Instead of a solid coverstock with a sanded box finish, the SE features a hybrid coverstock at a “T” finish out of the box. The lower grit box finish compared to the last Night Hawk makes the SE more suited for medium lane conditions.

Our testers had the most luck on our medium test pattern. All three testers saw the Night Hawk
