The Great Escape is the new heavy oil monster for AMF this season. This tri-colored ball uses a very aggressive F80 Solid reactive coverstock finished with a NEAT E pad, giving it a very rough 1500 grit sanded texture. While the Great Escape has a stronger and rougher cover than the original Escape, the two share the strong CFT Asymmetric core design which give it an RG of 2.48″, a differential of 0.051″, and an intermediate differential of 0.030″. Even though the Pure used the F90 Solid cover, our testers felt that the Great Escape got started even earlier in the oil. It produces strong traction in the front of the lane that makes it well-suited to patterns having high volumes of oil.
