The AMF Double Clutch Pearl uses the same asymmetric core as the Double Clutch, combined with a slightly weaker cover. The Double Clutch Pearl uses a polished pearl F55 cover that conserves more energy getting through the front and therefore having a much stronger move down lane. The only current ball in AMF’s product line that is stronger down lane than this one is the Shredder. The Shredder produces a much more angular look at the breakpoint. The Double Clutch Pearl is a perfect step down from the Shredder, which can be too angular at times.
Our medium pattern provided the best overall reaction for all three of our testers. Tweener had the best overall look with Stroker and Cranker not being far behind. All three found excellent continuation at the back end,
