The Inception is this summer’s high performance release for 900 Global. This ball joins the four Dreams in the Engineer line, offering a new sanded solid coverstock called S74R paired with a brand new core design called Adaptor/D Asymmetric. This core design features a low RG of 2.48″, a high differential of 0.055″, and a high intermediate differential of 0.024″.
The Inception’s strong core and coverstock combination was best on our heavy test pattern. All three testers played between the second and third arrows on this pattern while it was fresh. The 4000 grit cover was rough enough to grab strong in the midlane, but not quite dull enough to cross any farther left at the arrows.
