900 Global’s first ball of the new bowling season is in their high performance line and is called the Freight Train. It uses a new s77 coverstock and combines it with a new version of the Combustion core used in the Train.
The ball is finished with the E pad which gave us our best reaction on our heavy oil test pattern. All the testers were able to play in their comfort zones on this pattern and make small moves into the oil as the pattern broke down. For us, this ball kept the pins really low. We did not throw anything across the deck, just straight back.
Moving to the medium pattern, only Stroker was able to keep the Freight Train on line at the box finish. Tweener and
