The Dream On is a re-release for 900 Global in their new Alpha line of bowling balls, which will feature past popular balls from 900 Global’s history. This ball brings back everything from 2014’s original Dream On, including the same weight block, coverstock, colors, and box finish. Instead of being in the high performance line, this time it comes into the 900 Global family as a step down from the hooking monsters like the Inception DCT. While it isn’t the biggest hooking ball in the line this time, it is still a very good option for slick oil patterns.
All three of our testers could easily get to the pocket with the box finish on our heavy oil test pattern. They shared the same breakpoint of the eight board at the range finders, but they took different paths to get there. Stroker was the straightest up the lane, starting his ball on 15 and going over the second arrow. Tweener was laying his ball down on 19 and crossing 14 at the arrows.
