The Dark Matter is the third release in the Tour Preferred line from 900 Global, joining the Boo-Yah and Chemical X from earlier this year. This ball uses a brand new coverstock named S60 Solid that comes out of the box with a 1500 grit polished finish. The Dark Matter uses the new Dome Symmetric core, which has both a moderate RG and a moderate total differential.
We liked the Dark Matter best on our medium test pattern. Cranker liked it just a little more than the other two testers on this condition. His higher rev rate allowed him to see more recovery downlane, creating better angles through the pins and increasing his pin carry.
