The Bank is the latest high performance release for 900 Global. This new release uses a brand new core design which is sure to create some buzz. The Self Righting Core, or SRC, is touted as having only one stable point, while most cores have multiple stable points. The reason for one stable point versus several is that it allegedly allows the core to migrate from unstable to stable much more easily. That is as far as we will get into it, since we are merely ball testers and aren’t in the business of designing cores. Just remember that a ball doesn’t have to have an explosive reaction at the breakpoint to have excellent pin carry.
All testers found the Bank to match up best with our oily test pattern. On this pattern, all three were playing small swing shots, with Cranker being the deepest of the three, as usual. Getting the Bank to read the pattern was never a problem. We ...
